Procedure Part 1:

In the next three steps we will attach the lead wires, which will be used to connect the inductor to the radio circuit.

Step 4:

• Use a match or lighter to burn off the enamel coating from the ends of the coil.

Step 5:

• Sand the burnt enamel from the wire ends until the wires are shiny.

 

 

Step 6:

• Use a soldering iron to attach a lead wire to each coil end, and hot glue the lead wires to the soda straw.
