Procedure Part 2:

Here we assemble the radio circuit on the solderless breadboard.

Step 1:

  • Study the schematic diagram to determine how the parts are hooked together.
  • Refer to the materials pop up window to see the different components.

Step 2:

  • Hook up the components on a circuit trainer.
  • Set the power supply to +9V DC.

Step 3:

  • Hook up the antenna wire to a tree or post.
  • Hook up a ground wire to a metal water pipe or safety ground.
  • Tune in a station by moving the paper clip in and out of the inductor.
