Procedure Part 1:

First we will construct the transmitter tank coil:

Step 4:

• Wrap a separate 50 turn coil around and on top of the first 50 turns wrapped. Tack both ends of this coil to the soda straw with hot glue. These ends are wires number 4 and 5.

Step 5:

• Solder each of the five wires to a separate 4 ” length of telephone wire.
• Permanently glue each telephone wire to the straw in order from 1atoa5.
